Honouring an individual or family whose lifelong dedication has significantly shaped and strengthened the agricultural industry in Portage la Prairie & District.
This award recognizes those who:

Have demonstrated long-term commitment and leadership in agriculture.

Contributed to the growth, resilience, and sustainability of the local ag sector over many years.

Served as mentors, advocates, or role models within the agricultural community.

Supported community initiatives, organizations, or industry development beyond their own operation.

Left a lasting legacy that reflects pride, stewardship, and respect for agriculture.
Open to individuals, families or farm corperations with a minimum of 20 years of involvement in agriculture.

Farm of the Year Award
Recognizing a farm operation that exemplifies excellence in management, productivity, and stewardship within the agricultural industry.
This award highlights operations that:

Demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and business management practices.

Maintain high standards of production, animal care, or crop management.

Show commitment to land stewardship, sustainability, and responsible farming practices.

Adapt to change through innovation, efficiency, or diversification.

Open to crop, livestock, or mixed farm operations of any size operating for at least one year.

Ag Innovation & Sustainability Award
Celebrating forward-thinking individuals or operations that embrace innovation and sustainable practices to advance agriculture.
This award honours those who:

Young Farmer / Next Generation Award
Recognizing an emerging agricultural leader who represents the future of farming and agri-business in Portage la Prairie & District.
This award celebrates individuals who:
